Anonymous asked: You’re still up?
…Why the outfit, love?
Well… seeing as I only have tonight and tomorrow left and that you liked this outfit so much, I uh… figured I could take you out on another date.
There was a glint of sorrow in Julian eyes.
“…There’s something you’re not telling me, isn’t there? You don’t think that whatever we do… will save you, do you?”
“I honestly don’t know what is going to happen… But we should assume the worst, Julian…”
“I…think we should be positive.” He replied solemnly. At the pit of his stomach, he felt it too.
That feeling of despair.
He walked over to Loki and gave him a gentle embrace.
Loki could see how much it hurt Julian.
He put the wine glass down and wrapped his arms around Julian, “Hope for the best but expect the worst.” He told Julian, “What if on Sunday I do die and we never got to properly say goodbye… Hmmm?”
He gave Julian a kiss, “I’ve accepted it. Death will take me sooner or later. I’m not afraid of it. However… That doesn’t mean on Sunday I am not going to fight it tooth and nail. I will for you, Julian, and everyone else… But if we happen to loose, I want to make sure that my last days are special.”
“No, I’d still get a goodbye in… if that happens. Which it won’t. Because you will win.”
He kissed him, but it wasn’t one of his usual ones. This one was tender, familiar. He stopped and put his forehead to Loki’s.
“I’ll fight it too. Whatever it takes.”
Loki smiled, closing his eyes, feeling Julian’s warm lips inches against from his.
“If I die… Promise me you won’t do anything stupid.” Loki asked of him.
“I can’t promise you that.” He laughed half-heartedly.
“So, what would you like to do? Your wish is my command.”
“You can’t promise me that…” Loki sighed.
“My only wish is to spend the night with you.” Loki told him, “Do you want to try and watch TV again?” Loki asked, since he was never really sure what else they could do together at his house.
Besides the obvious answer - but watching TV was probably going to lead to that.
After a period of silence, he walked over to the computer… and shut it off.
“It’s a nice night out. And lots of stars out too. We can warm up later.” He said with a smile.
“Up for that?”
